“We have found Cold Fire to be an extremely fast and effective fire suppression product. Each of our operators is issued their own personal can of Cold Fire which is carried on their vest. It is more than we need for the type of fires we start, most commonly with flashbangs. We also appreciate the fact that there is no residual smoke or any impairment to our vision like there was using a dry chem unit.”

Cold Fire™ is used by Bomb Squads and Civil Disturbance Units as the first line of defence against molotov cocktails and fire-bombs. The properties of Cold Fire™ make it an excellent choice for use against the threat of civil unrest from organized anarchist groups such as Black Block whose weapon of choice against police is fire.

Excellent for use for fire safety for national security events, Cold Fire™ is non-toxic with cooling properties for use where officer and public safety is paramount.

Cold Fire has been deployed at the following security events:

G8 Summit, G20 Summit, NATO Summit, Asian Pacific Economic Conference, Democratic National Convention, Republican National Convention, Super Bowl, and Seattle May Day Protests, Ferguson, Baltimore riots, and Charlottesville.

Cold Fire Tactical has come up with an alternative to the expensive backpack unit. After interviews with public order units throughout North America, the request was simple, give us an easy way to carry at least 6 liters of Cold Fire for larger fires. The Backpack Alternative Kit has a removal strap enabling officers to carry it over their shoulder. Just a simple swing forward and the kit is ready for use.  Another great feature is when not deployed for field force it can be stored in the vehicle for fleet or tactical use.  This versatility comes at a fraction of the cost of our previous backpack. See the photos below.

“Our independent tests are completed and have provided us with the results seen in your previous demonstrations. We are preparing to substitute the current suppression agent with Cold Fire on our firefighting apparatus at the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels, as well as the George Washington Bridge. Furthermore, based on the information provided in the Material Safety Data Sheets, we have received approval for our Occupational Health Departments to use this product as recommended by the manufacturer.”

Joseph Caiafa

“…Last week we had a car into a tree at high speeds with the drive trapped and on fire. The officers used Cold Fire to keep the fire down until the FD arrived. From what I am hearing it most likely saved this young man’s life!”

Brad Hill
Sgt, LPD

“Gentlemen, We finished our two-week breaching school without starting any more fires. All of the instructors and facilitators debriefed various aspects of the school, including your product, Cold Fire. The overwhelming sentiment was that we liked using the Cold Fire. We found it to be very convenient, easy to use, portable, lightweight and more than enough for the small fires we started. We have one case of Cold Fire left which we have placed in our emergency response breaching vehicle and will be deployed on all tactical breaching operations. When we come close to exhausting what we have left, we will definitely place an order for more via your website. Thank you for the opportunity to test and evaluate your product.”

“We also used your product last week in a real operation involving the use of a Broco torch to breach a metal door. After using the torch, the metal around the breach point was extremely hot (glowing orange). The breachers used a can of Cold Fire and it quickly cooled down the metal, making it much safer for personnel walking in and around the area.”

Lt. Donnie Johnson

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department

“We have found Cold Fire to be an extremely fast and effective fire suppression product. Each of our operators is issued their own personal can of Cold Fire which is carried on their vest. It is more than we need for the type of fires we start, most commonly with flashbangs. We also appreciate the fact that there is no residual smoke or any impairment to our vision like there was using a dry chem unit.”

“We no longer have to carry a standard fire extinguisher and really like the portable aspect to the small cans. This also allows us to keep our hands free. It is a great product that we value as part of our tactical gear.”

Kevin Chin
San Francisco Police Department, SWAT Team

“In my 27 years of fire fighting, no fire-fighting product has impressed me as much as yours. Cold Fire lives up to, if not exceeds, all that was advertised. My first experience using Cold Fire was at a brush fire approximately 100 ft. in diameter. Using my extinguisher with Cold Fire, I was able to knock the fire down and control any further burn until the remainder of our response was on scene. I feel that Cold Fire will definitely improve our fire fighting and reduce injuries to our members. This is a product that we will be using more and more in the future.”

Ronald Schnall
Chief, Holbrook Fire Department

“This memo serves to tell you how pleased we are with your product. From the initial research conducted by Officer Gardner, through actual deployment in the field, Cold Fire proves to be superior to other similar products.”

“We have had opportunities to use the extinguishers in automobile crashes and they perform exceptionally well, quickly putting out the flames and cooling the burning metal immediately. This is a great safety measure for responding officers as well as those they are attempting to save.
Thank you for your great customer service and a product that delivers what you promised.”

Chief Ellen Hansen
Lenexa Police Department

“I was able to test the Cold Fire Tactical Can personal fire suppression system. This particular Cold Fire Can is a 13.5 oz. extinguisher that is extremely compact, lightweight and can be easily carried in a pouch on a tactical vest or in a cargo pocket. The Cold Fire Tactical Cans are extremely effective in extinguishing small fires associated with flashbang deployments and explosive and thermal breaching. I found when using these extinguishers that they are easily deployed and can be easily used with one hand.”

“The cans quickly extinguish small flash bang fires on furniture and drapes with ease. In the past, our entry team has dedicated an operator to carry a much larger standard fire extinguisher which is very cumbersome, heavy and not easily deployed. This is a tool that should be carried by entry team members, explosive breachers and bomb squad members. Having a compact, lightweight extinguisher cannot be overstated in its importance and is long overdue.”
